Every wedding we plan is tailored to your individual preferences, and while no two celebrations are the same, the following overview outlines the planning phases and process we’ll follow to bring everything together smoothly and thoughtfully.

PLANNING PHASES

PHASE 01

This phase typically begins around 12 months before your wedding day. The main focus is to secure the key elements that set the tone for your celebration — your venue, photographer/videographer, and save the dates and invitations.

The venue is one of the most important decisions you'll make. It often represents the largest portion of your budget and directly influences your catering, style, and overall guest experience. Securing your venue early provides a strong foundation for the rest of your planning.

 

 

Popular photographers and videographers tend to get booked well in advance — especially during peak wedding season. This is another key element to lock in early.

 

 

If you're hosting a destination wedding, giving guests plenty of notice is essential. We recommend sending save the dates about 12 months in advance, with formal invitations following around 6 months before the wedding. This allows your guests to plan travel and accommodations comfortably.

 

This phase begins with a personalised questionnaire to help us understand your vision and preferences. From there, we’ll curate a selection of tailored options for each element and present them to you as part of our phase one presentation.

PHASE 02

​​​

This phase typically runs from 12 to 6 months before your wedding day. The focus shifts to developing your overall wedding design and securing all remaining vendors.

The design process can be as collaborative as you'd like. Some couples come to us with a clear vision, while others aren’t sure where to begin — either way, we're here to guide you. We'll work closely with you to shape and refine your design concept, bringing your ideas to life in a cohesive and beautiful way. We always bring a refined, artful approach to the design of each wedding.

Your list of additional vendors will vary depending on your needs — from florists and entertainment to lighting, transportation, and more. Because of this, we may break the process into multiple presentation and review calls, to give each element the attention it deserves.

This phase begins with a design consultation call, where we’ll explore your inspiration, preferences, and any ideas you may already have. From there, we’ll create visual mood boards and source vendor options that align with your vision.

Since this is often the most detailed and creative part of the planning journey, we’ll have several touchpoints throughout to ensure everything comes together seamlessly.

PHASE 03

​​​

This phase typically takes place between 6 to 3 months before your wedding day. The focus is on confirming all the details and bringing your plans to final form.

​
 

After exploring different ideas during Phase Two, we’ll now finalise and approve the complete look and feel of your wedding. This includes confirming details like florals, décor, table settings, props, lighting, and more — ensuring every element is aligned with your vision.

We’ll move forward with booking all remaining vendors that were agreed upon in the last phase. We’ll also liaise directly with each supplier, providing them with thorough briefs to ensure everyone is aligned and prepared for your big day.

At this stage, we’ll also finalise your floor plans, seating arrangements, and lock in a clear wedding day timeline so everything flows effortlessly.

This phase begins with a design presentation call to review and approve the final aesthetic. With most major decisions already made, our focus now is on fine-tuning and communicating with vendors to ensure every detail is perfectly in place.

PHASE 04

​

This final phase usually takes place around one month before your wedding day. With everything in place, our focus shifts to final checks, logistics, and last-minute details to ensure a flawless celebration.

We’ll schedule a run-through call as well as an in-person walkthrough ahead of your wedding day. This helps us align on every element of the schedule and ensure you feel fully prepared and supported.

We’ll reconnect with all vendors to confirm timings, re-share the wedding timeline, and provide them with everything they need to deliver their part on the day. Every detail is reviewed to make sure nothing is overlooked.

We’ll closely monitor the weather forecast in the lead-up to your wedding. If needed, we’ll have a Plan B ready to go — just in case the weather takes an unexpected turn.
 


At this point, it’s time for you to relax and enjoy the final countdown to your wedding, knowing everything is taken care of.

On the day itself, we’ll be there from start to finish — overseeing setup, coordinating all vendors, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. We’re there to handle any surprises, support you and your guests, and make sure your vision is brought to life just as you imagined.
